Come and join our exciting and fantastic Dance classes! We teach many styles of Dance including Hop Hop, Funky Jazz Dance, Musical Theatre, Contemporary, Lyrical Jazz, Ballet and Tap.

Funky Jazz - A very popular form of dance, performed to a wide variety of Pop music.

Hip Hop - A strong and athletic style of dance, primarily using Funk, Rap and R + B music to dance to.

Ballet - A Classical Dance form and which is the Foundation for all forms of Dance.

Creative Dance - A magical and fun introduction to Dance for all younger students.

Classes are open to all HKIS Students and non-HKIS students. All the way from Lower Primary to High School students, including classes for Beginners through to Advanced dance.

Now in its’ 28th successful year at HKIS, this unique Programme, offers World class training. Our Senior and Advanced Dance students are now the Asian winners of the "Get The Beat" dance competition in Hip Hop, Jazz, Tap and Contemporary Dance styles.

The aim of the Dance Programme is to nurture all students through their love of music and dance, a strong emphasis is placed on performing and the joy of dance. Classes are taught by a passionate and expert team of Professional dancers and Teachers from the Glenda Allen Dance Academy.

Dance students take part in the highly acclaimed Dance and Musical Theatre stage performances at The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts (HKAPA).
