Soccer Academy Squad

The Girls and Boys Academy squad play as the Tai Tam Tigers and offers our young players the opportunity to train all year and to compete against some of the Territory’s best junior players in the HKJFL (Hong Kong Junior Football League). The boys also compete in the HKFA Golden Age Leagues. Academy squad players are expected to train 2 times per week with matches on Saturdays. The Boys Academy starts at Under 7’s and goes through Under 15. The Girls are made up of four squads, the U8's, U10's, U12's and the U14's.

Within the academy squads, there are two teams - the blue team and the red team.

Tai Tam Tigers Assessment Day

To be a part of the Academy and Development Squads, all players must attend the Assessment Day on Saturday 16th August (Boys) and Sunday 17th August (Girls). Players must Register for the Assessment Day through SchoolsBuddy.

BOYS

  • U7: Saturday 16th August, 8:30 to 10:00am at Tai Tam Field
  • U8: Saturday 16th August, 8:30 to 10:00am at Tai Tam Field
  • U9: Saturday 16th August, 8:30 to 10:00am at Tai Tam Field
  • U10: Saturday 16th August, 10:30 to 12:00pm at Tai Tam Field
  • U11: Saturday 16th August, 10:30 to 12:00pm at Tai Tam Field
  • U12: Saturday 16th August, 10:30 to 12:00pm at Tai Tam Field
  • U13: Saturday 16th August, 12:30 to 2:00pm at Tai Tam Field
  • U14/15: Saturday 16th August, 12:30 to 2:00pm at Tai Tam Field

GIRLS

  • U8: Sunday 17th August, 3:00 to 4:30pm at Tai Tam Field
  • U10: Sunday 17th August, 3:00 to 4:30pm at Tai Tam Field
  • U12: Sunday 17th August, 3:00 to 4:30pm at Tai Tam Field
  • U14: Sunday 17th August, 3:00 to 4:30pm at Tai Tam Field

Boys Schedule

BOYS TIER 1 ACADEMY SQUAD TRAINING DAYS & TIMES

U7 and U8 teams listed below will train at the Tai Tam field on Sundays 4:30 - 6:00pm with each player's 2nd training session as below:-

  • U7 (2019) - Tuesdays, Wednesdays or Thursdays in Repulse Bay - 3:00pm to 4:00pm* - Flat soles required
  • U8 (2018) - Tuesdays, Wednesdays or Thursdays in Repulse Bay - 3:00pm to 4:00pm* - Flat soles required

U9 and U10 teams listed below will train at the Tai Tam field on Wednesdays 4:45 - 6:30pm with each team's 2nd training session as below:-

  • U9 (2017) - Tuesdays at UP Gym - 4:00pm to 5:30pm* - Flat soles required
  • U10 (2016) - Thursdays at UP Gym - 4:00pm to 5:30pm* - Flat soles required

* Students in the Academy midweek sessions at Repulse Bay are automatically enrolled in 3-4pm After School Care

  • U11 (2015) - Wednesdays at TT field - 4:45pm to 6:30pm & Sundays at TT field - 4:30pm to 6:00pm
  • U12 (2014) - Mondays at TT field - 6:30pm to 8:00pm & Wednesday at TT Field - 6:30pm to 8:00pm
  • U13 (2013) - Mondays at TT field - 6:30pm to 8:00pm & Wednesday at TT Field - 6:30pm to 8:00pm
  • U14/15 (2011/12) - Mondays at TT field - 6:30pm to 8:00pm & Sundays at TT Field - 6:00pm to 7:30pm

Matches are on Saturdays and usually in the morning.

FEES - HK$14,000 divided into 2 instalments of $7,000 per term.

GIRLS ACADEMY SQUAD TRAINING DAYS & TIMES

  • U8 (2018 / 2019) - Sundays 3:00pm to 4:30pm at Tai Tam Field
    (Note there is also a G1-2 girls session on Fridays 3:00pm to 4:00pm in Repulse Bay)
  • U10 (2016 / 2017) - Wednesdays 4:45pm to 6:30pm & Sundays 3:00pm to 4:30pm at Tai Tam Field
  • U12 (2014 / 2015) - Wednesdays 6:30pm to 8:00pm & Sundays 3:00pm to 4:30pm at Tai Tam Field
  • U14 (2012 / 2013) - Wednesdays 6:30pm to 8:00pm & Sundays 3:00pm to 4:30pm at Tai Tam Field

Matches are on Saturdays and usually in the morning.

How to register on SchoolsBuddy

  1. Create a Schools buddy account (Please email us if you need the activation token to do this)
  2. Logon, click the 'Bookings Open' tab to see your child(ren) name(s) and what programs are available to them.
  3. When the actual term registration starts logon, click the Co-Curricular Programs tab, select the class of choice, click Book, then it will take you to the Asiapay Credit Card Payment page. After inputting your credit card details and confirming an confirmation page will appear plus an email confirmation will be sent.
  4. Click on My Diary to see all of the term's classes for your child(ren).
  5. HKIS students must register via the SchoolsBuddy system and Registration will open soon. Non-HKIS parents who do not already have an account need to create a New Account and then register their children and that can be done here: https://hkis.schoolsbuddy.net/Account/register.
