Training & Recreational Squads

Training & Recreational Squads - is the entry level program designed to develop the fundamentals of the game in a fun and safe environment. Appropriate level skills are developed through modified games, fun drills and recreational match play.

The mid-week and Saturday morning training classes are open to all players from R1 to Grade 5 who are starting out in the sport and just want to give it a try or those that have tried it in the past and want to get back into it. Registration will be done through the parent's SchoolsBuddy account.

The Saturday recreational training classes are also open to all players that just want to play the game for fun.

Schedule and Registration

Co-Ed Midweek

The Training & Recreational players will focus on the development of fundamental techniques and a love of the game and will not participate in competitive matches. Those chosen for, or electing to join the training squad, can choose their preferred level of training commitment from once to 3 times per week.

Tier 3 Midweek Training Squads – Co-Ed
All Tier 3 Training Squad players must register via SchoolsBuddy.

• G1 & G2 - Tuesdays in Repulse Bay - 3:00 to 4:00pm (Co-Ed - HKIS students only)
• G1 & G2 - Wednesdays in Repulse Bay - 3:00 to 4:00pm (Co-Ed - HKIS students only)
• G1 & G2 - Thursdays in Repulse Bay - 3:00 to 4:00pm (Co-Ed - HKIS students only)
• G3 - G5 - Tuesdays in Repulse Bay - 4:00 to 5:30pm (Co-Ed)
• G3 - G5 - Thursdays in Repulse Bay - 4:00 to 5:30pm (Co-Ed)
• R1 & R2 - Fridays in Repulse Bay - 4:00 to 5:00pm (Co-Ed)
  

Co-Ed Saturday/Sunday

Tier 3 Saturday/Sunday Recreational Soccer – Co-Ed
Recreational soccer on a Saturday/Sunday will follow the same curriculum and philosophy as the midweek ASA classes.

• R1 & R2 - Saturdays in Repulse Bay - 9:00 to 10:00am (Co-Ed - open for non-HKIS)
• G1, G2, G3, G4, & G5 - Saturdays in Repulse Bay - 10:30 to 12:00pm (Co-Ed - open for non-HKIS)
• R1 & R2 - Sundays at Tai Tam Field - 1:30 to 2:30pm (Co-Ed - open for non-HKIS)

Girls only

Tier 3 Training Squads – (Girls only classes)

• G1 & G2 - Fridays in Repulse Bay - 3:00 to 4:00pm

How to register on SchoolsBuddy

1. Create a Schools buddy account (Please email us if you need the activation token to do this)
2. Logon, click the 'Bookings Open' tab to see your child(ren) name(s) and what programs are available to them.
3. When the actual term registration starts logon, click the Co-Curricular Programs tab, select the class of choice, click Book, then it will take you to the Asiapay Credit Card Payment page. After inputting your credit card details and confirming an confirmation page will appear plus an email confirmation will be sent.
4. Click on My Diary to see all of the term's classes for your child(ren).
5. HKIS students must register via the SchoolsBuddy system and Registration will open soon. Non-HKIS parents who do not already have an account need to create a New Account and then register their children and that can be done here: https://hkis.schoolsbuddy.net/Account/register.
