Training Squads

Training Squads - is the entry level program designed to develop the fundamentals of the game in a fun and safe environment. Appropriate level skills are developed through modified games, fun drills and match play.

The mid-week classes are open to all players starting out in the sport and just want to give it a try or those that have tried it in the past and want to get back into it. Registration will be done on a first-come first-served basis through the parent's Schoolsbuddy account.

The Saturday Recreational match play class will also be open to players in Grades 3 and up that just want to play the game for fun and without the pressures of performance and/or winning.

To determine if an activity is inclusive i.e. non-competitive and all students are welcome or selective i.e. competitive and students will need to try out, you can refer to the below icons featured next to each activity throughout this brochure. The Hawks Tier 3 Academy Squad is inclusive and registration is done on a first-come, first served basis using the Schoolsbuddy system when registration opens each term.

Boys Only

• Mondays (G2), Wednesdays (G1), Fridays (G1&2) 2:50-3:50 pm LP Gym
• Mondays (G3&4) 2:50-3:50 pm UP Gym

Girls Only

• Wednesdays (G1&2) 2:50-3:50 pm UP Gym
• Wednesdays (G3-5) 2:50-3:50 pm UP Gym

Coed

• G3-4s Coed Saturdays 9-10:30am UP Gym
• G5-8s Coed Saturdays 10:30am-12pm UP Gym

How To Register Via Schoolsbuddy

Term 1 Registration will start on Aug 1st at 12 noon in your Schoolsbuddy Account. Please contact us if you have not activated your account one week prior to this date.

Registration Terms & Conditions

1. Create a Schools buddy account (Please email us if you need the activation token to do this)
2. Logon, click the Co-Curricular Programs tab to see if your child(ren) name(s). Practice registering using the Southside Hawks Test Booking Container for the Hawks Test Practice Event.
3. When the actual term registration starts logon, click the Co-Curricular Programs tab, select the class of choice, click Book, then it will take you to the Credit Card Payment page. Please use HK Bank issued credit cards only and after inputting your credit card details and confirming a confirmation page will appear plus an email confirmation will be sent. If you have credits in your account please select pay any amounts using parent account first.
4. Click on My Diary to see all of the term's classes for your child(ren).
