Loudly and joyfully celebrate the 2026 Chinese New Year of the Horse by joining the MS CNY Drum Team. This group will collaborate to learn the rhythms and choreography that boldly welcomes the Lunar New Year with performances at HKIS CNY celebrations.
The Tuition and Material Fees for the MS CNY CNY Drum experience is $2800 and will be invoiced on registration. Students will be provided with their own small Chinese drum with stand and sticks
It is important to ensure that you can fully commit to the CNY Drum Team:
  • I can attend all Drum Team rehearsals (each Friday after school from 3:15 to 4:00pm)
  • I can attend the HS and MS CNY performances (Thursday, February 13).
  • I understand that personal (home) practice is required to consolidate the drum rhythms and choreography.
  • I understand that I am part of a team, and we are working towards the goal of the CNY assembly performances in February 2026.
  • I understand that I will be invoiced for $2800 being tuition and materials fees for the MS CNY Drums.
