Bus Service at 4:00 PM
The 4:00 PM school bus service is mandatory for all registered bus riders. Regular bus riders registered in a 3:00 PM activity will automatically be registered to ride their regular bus home at 4:00 PM, unless otherwise notified. Your child’s ASA bus number may be different to their regular 3:00 PM bus number. Please find ASA bus number indicated on their bus tag, in the box on the right side of the card.
One-off bus change: this request refers to a one-time only change, from riding the bus to being picked up
Permanent bus change: this request is made for the full term
*All requests must be submitted 2 working days in advance.
*Only change from bus rider to pick-up is accepted. Bus ‘X’ to Bus ‘Y’ changes will be rejected.
If you prefer your child to be dropped off at a different stop along the bus route of their assigned ASA bus, please reach out to Kwoon Chong Motors (Bus Service Provider) in advance at hkis@kcm.edu.hk for assistance.
Bus Change at 3:00 PM
To attend activities at the Tai Tam campus, it is essential to request for bus change and ensure that a parent/guardian meets the student at the designated bus stop to ensure safety of our students.
Prior to requesting a bus change, please check activity dates. All requests must be submitted 2 working days in advance.

- Prior to start of ASA, complete Jotform shared with families via email
- After ASA commences, email request to bus@hkis.edu.hk
Emergency & ‘Permission to Ride’
Please email the Activities Office and the Bus Coordinator in case of an emergency.
If your child will not be attending their regular 3:00 PM ASA and needs to take the 3:00 PM school bus instead, they must have a ‘Permission to Ride’ slip. To ensure your child receives this slip, parents or guardians must inform the child’s homeroom teacher or education assistant via email as early as possible on the day of the change.
