2026 Summer Discovery Program Information
Eligibility requirements:
Session 1 - Offered only to students currently enrolled at HKIS.
Session 2 - Available to both current and incoming HKIS students, as well as non-HKIS students registered at a Hong Kong-based school
HKIS provides students with engaging and enjoyable opportunities, supported by our dedicated and experienced staff. The Summer Discovery Program runs throughout the summer. The program is split into 2 sessions (3 weeks each). Students can choose from morning, afternoon, or full-day classes, allowing them to explore a wide range of activities and educational enrichment programs in a safe and fun learning environment.

Please note that we implement a mandatory bussing policy for both morning and afternoon departures from the school, except for students who are regular HKIS registered walkers.
SUMMER DISCOVERY PROGRAM SCHEDULE
AM Session - 9 AM - 12 PM (3 hours per day)
PM Session - 12:45 PM - 3:45 PM (3 hours per day)

| 8:30 - 9:00 AM | Students arrive & are taken to Gymnasium, supervised by staff until 8:55am, then lined up and assigned classes to walk down to, with the appropriate teacher. |
| 9:00 AM | AM Classes start. 15 Minute recess will be allocated for each course. |
| 12:00 PM | AM Session finishes. All students are escorted to the buses. Students registered for PM Session have the opportunity to have lunch in the school cafeteria. |
| 12:30 PM - 12:45 PM | Students arrive & are taken to Gymnasium, supervised by staff until 12:40pm, then lined up and assigned classes to walk down to with the appropriate teacher. |
| 12:45 PM | PM Classes start. 15 Minute recess will be allocated for each course. |
| 3:45 PM | Classes are finished. Students are escorted down to the buses. |
