Course Description:
Unleash your creativity this summer with an exciting Design Thinking Workshop! Designed for Upper Primary students, this hands-on class will introduce innovative process of design thinking – where imagination meets problem solving. A fun-filled journey as we explore real-world challenges, brainstorm creative solutions, and prototype our ideas. Through teamwork and collaboration, you’ll learn to think critically and design with purpose, all while developing essential skills in creativity, empathy, and resilience. Learner Outcomes:
Students will:
- Develop the confidence to express their ideas and think outside the box
- Enhance their ability to identify problems and brainstorm innovative solutions to real-world problems
- Gain practical experience with 3D printing, laser cutting, and other design tools, building strong foundation in modern technology
- Understand the importance of prototyping and iterating on their designs to improve and refine their ideas.
- Adopt a design thinking approach, learning to empathize with users, define problems, ideate solutions, prototype, and test their ideas.
