Curious Minds: A Creative Approach to Writing, Reading and Math

Course Description:
In "Curious Minds: Writing, Reading, and Math," students will embark on an engaging journey that intertwines literacy and numeracy with the innovative use of technology. This dynamic program is designed to ignite curiosity and foster a love for learning through creative expression and hands-on activities.
As young writers, students will explore the art of storytelling by crafting their own narratives and descriptive pieces. They will utilize technology to bring their stories to life. Through collaborative projects, students will learn to share their work, give constructive feedback, and celebrate each other’s creativity.
In reading, students will dive into a variety of genres, including fiction and non-fiction, while developing critical thinking skills. They will engage in discussions, make connections to their own experiences, and analyze texts.
In math, students will engage in hands-on activities and problem-solving tasks that apply a range of concepts to real-world situations. Through collaborative group work, students will practice sharing their findings and strategies, building confidence in their mathematical abilities.
