Service Club

Service Club

Want to make a difference? The Service Club is a place where students come together to brainstorm and plan ways to help others in Hong Kong and other parts of the world. This club will give kids an opportunity to explore their passions, learn more about issues locally and around the world, lead their classmates in service learning, and actively serve those in need. Kids will come up with their own solutions, learn from experts, and have opportunities to see what older kids in Middle School and High School are doing with service.

Students will embark on a monthly study of different areas of service during Service Club meetings. They will experience hands-on service opportunities, plan projects, and reflect on what they learn throughout the process. Members of Service Club are encouraged to join both Term 1 and 2 in order to put in practice the concepts they learn each month. Linette Perez and Lindsay Ernst will serve as faculty advisors and will be supported by parent volunteers. Please contact serviceclub@hkis.edu.hk for any questions.

Please note: Service Club meeting days will be on MONDAYS for the 2025-26 school year. Students should write an email from their school email account to serviceclub@hkis.edu.hk to share a short paragraph on why they are passionate about service.
