Service Club
Service Club
Want to make a difference? The Service Club is a place where students come together to brainstorm and plan ways to help others in Hong Kong and other parts of the world. This club will give kids an opportunity to explore their passions, learn more about issues locally and around the world, lead their classmates in service learning, and actively serve those in need. Kids will come up with their own solutions, learn from experts, and have opportunities to see what older kids in Middle School and High School are doing with service.
Students will embark on a yearlong project during Service Club meetings. September club meetings will take place weekly for the purpose of putting a plan together for their project. The club will meet every other week in following months to continue with the project. Members of Service Club are encouraged to join both Term 1 and 2 in order to complete the year long project. Linette Perez will serve as our faculty advisor. Please contact serviceclub@hkis.edu.hk for any questions.
Please note: Service Club meeting days will be on THURSDAYS for the 2024-25 school year. Students should write an email from their school email account to serviceclub@hkis.edu.hk to share a short paragraph on why they are passionate about service.
