HK Island Stingrays Swim Club
Hong Kong Island Stingrays Swim Club is a parent owned, and coach run swim club. Since its establishment in 1996, the Club has been operating under the governance of a self-perpetuating Board, whose members are nominated and approved for appointment at the regular Annual General Meeting. The legal status of the Club is that of a Hong Kong private company requiring financial statements and audits, and the submission of an annual return to the Companies Registry. The Club is also given a tax-exempt status due to the source of income derived predominantly from membership fee dues. Stingrays is a competitive swim team. Our home base is at the Hong Kong International School, Tai Tam Campus. While we are a separate entity from the school, we run the Junior Varsity and Varsity swim team for HKIS.
